Working with Christa & Steve was a pleasure from start to finish. An amazing couple with equally amazing hearts. Thank you for having me as your photographer to capture the day and making us feel like part of the family! I wish you all the best!

Just finished an ad/shoot for Hebert Jewelers of downtown Milford, CT. The idea was to show off the rings in settings that also showed off the Milford, CT area. Be on the lookout for the finished ad in Milford Living Magazine….and if you’re on the ‘lookout’ for an engagement ring (or any other jewelry)- Hebert Jewelers has the best of the best in quality and service. Stop by their shop on the green in Milford to see for yourself!
Here are a few of the photos from the shoot:

Had the honor of shooting some great kids for a super-hero themed evening this week. Thanks to J & M (and fam) for helping out and striking the super-poses. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Had a great time with Jess & Justin for their engagement shoot. Yale was a great choice and we ended up having amazing weather to work with. The architecture and surroundings are so diverse and beautiful- it’s more like narrowing down where to shoot, as opposed to looking for places to shoot! Jess & Justin are amazing together- so down to earth, fun, and easy to be around. I think the photos speak/illustrate that as well. Thanks guys for spending the afternoon at Yale, and I’m looking forward to working with you next year. Way to rock the photoshoot!

Starting off with one of my favorite images. I wasn't sure at first if there would be enough light inside the Beinecke library building. The light ended up coming in just right through the marble architecture. If you're in the area and haven't seen the inside of this building, go check it out! Pretty awesome.

How amazing are the gates at yale??

Congratulations to Sara & Mike! I joined them at their Rocky Neck State Park Pavilion wedding. This was my first time at this location….what a great place! The building was so unique in look and shape -and the surroundings were beautiful as well. All the best to you both in your new life together. Props to Erica, Rochelle, and the crew at Ambiance Chic Wedding Planning (www.findambiance.com) for helping put together a beautiful event.

One of the most creative save the date cards I've seen. Can you guess their fields of study? :)

Slightly different view just after the shot above. I love the kids in this one.

Mike and Sara took advantage of the ocean side view. It was a grey, but beautiful day.

This great rock wall was at the base of the building. Had to utilize it for some shots. Love the expression from Sara and Mike.

Some of the little details from the big day.

The shot on the right shows off the great looooong, curve of the pavilion and great rustic feel with the woodwork.

Showing off their fancy foxtrot moves...nicely done.

A few more details from the evening.

Just when you thought the cake cutting went off clean :)

I often take the bride and groom away from the reception just for a moment to capture a night shot like this.
I had the pleasure of photographing the ceremony of Allyson & Bill at the Hopkins Inn for a small intimate gathering of friends and family. We were able to utilize the vineyard next door for the portrait time. Hopkins was a great location for this wedding in a beautiful part of Connecticut. Congrats to you both!

It has been a while since I have been up and out shooting before sunrise. It’s amazing how different the feel of this time of day is. Everything so quiet and calm. Different sounds and smells. Photo shot at Walnut Beach -Milford, CT.

A great sunny day wedding in August. Other than a close call on the beach, (nearly melting) we all survived. With St. John’s church, Harkness state park, and the Old Saybrook Point Inn….there was no shortage of scenic spots to photograph at. Erica & Greg, you were great to work with (and your HUGE wedding party). Lots of good laughs/times while shooting. Thanks to you and your families for having us capture your big day.

The party of 20 kept the entrances creative...

Holly & Bob- Thanks so much for having me come be a part of your wedding day. I had a great time capturing it as well as running into many familiar faces! You both have a great way with people and I know you’ll be an amazing team together. Tango on!
